AFTERSCHOOL IS COOL EXPO

The Afterschool is Cool Youth Expo is more than an event—it’s an experience designed to help students build confidence, explore new pathways, and create a strategic game plan for their future.

This year’s theme, "Championship Mindset," focuses on the habits, skills, and decisions that lead to winning—on and off the field. Students will rotate through hands-on sessions and interactive simulations focused on three future-ready tracks:

• Financial Literacy (Money Moves): real-world budgeting and decision-making
• College Access (Playbook Strategies): pathways, preparation, and admissions readiness
• Career Exploration (Innovation Arena): hands-on industry experiences with community and workforce partners

Students don’t just hear about opportunities—they experience them. They leave inspired, prepared, and equipped to make their best move, next move toward success.

• Engaging Keynote Speaker: Learn how to create your game plan for success from inspiring leaders.
• Interactive Workshops and Panels: Explore life as a college student or professional, gain skills, and get advice on your future.
• Hands-On Activities: Participate in the BridgeYear Career Test Drive to experience real-world career tasks.
• Meet Employers and Colleges: Connect with industry professionals, colleges, and community organizations offering resources, opportunities, and guidance.
• Free Swag & Giveaways: Take home fun college and career-themed swag to inspire your journey!

• Middle and High School Students: Ready to explore college and career opportunities.
• Parents: Looking for resources to guide their student’s future.
• Educators and Mentors: Supporting students in their academic and career journey.
